In the next couple weeks I'll be changing over to a gas powered coffee machine! Stay tuned as I'll be bringing you guys along as we do this.

This means there won't be any noise when you come get your coffee from me. How good will that be and for my sanity I won't have to listen to it all day and everyday.

It's been 5 weeks since I launched my business and honestly with all the stress that's involved I still wouldn't go back!
Being able to make coffee and yap all day is the best and exactly what I love the most ☕🤍

I also feel so blessed because I know I've inspired so many other people to chase their dreams. So to those questioning it, I say go for it but just know there is a lot of work and if you have the support from people around you it is absolutely doable. Do what you love!! 🙌

It's a cold week this week here in Tassie but I'll still be serving coffee, see my previous post for my schedule of where I'll be.

And this is why I love making coffee... It's doing the latte art! I got clear lids so you can still see the art🤌

It also makes the coffee taste that much better when there's latte art 😉

A little more behind the scenes of starting Estro Coffee.
Got the idea a year ago to start a coffee business and began building the coffee truck 3 months ago after buying the truck in October last year. Got it done so quickly all thanks to @the_brodstar and @reuben.wherrett for spending hours and hours working on the truck.

What a journey!! 🙌☕

I’ve had to update my times for the next couple days as I’ve got bookings.

I’ll be in Sorell 6:30am-8:30am for the next 10ish days hence the change in times - for a booking.

Friday is Anzac Day, I’ll be in Tranmere at a BBQ serving coffee and going to Lindisfarne afterwards.

And I’ve got a wedding lunch to go to on Sunday so I’ll only be there early in the morning.

This is literally the best iced drink!... Iced strawberry matcha, the new rage at the moment and it's on my menu.

Hello and welcome to all the new faces who have joined me on this exciting journey of launching my coffee truck!
I truly appreciate all the support so far — thank you!

I wanted to take a moment to share a little about myself and how this dream came to life.

My name is Shalom, and I’m the youngest in a family of nine kids. I’ve been a barista for four years, gaining experience in coffee-making and working as a café supervisor. That role sparked the idea that I could one day run something of my own. Alongside that, I’ve also been running a photography business for the past four years, which has helped me build experience in the business world. @shaloms_photography

About a year ago, I felt inspired to start my own coffee shop. I began looking at potential café spaces, but none felt quite right. Then someone suggested starting a coffee van instead. I loved the idea — but I didn’t want it to be just any ordinary van. I wanted it to have style, personality, and reflect who I am.

Eventually, I found a Suzuki Carry on Marketplace and turned to my brother for help, as I couldn’t build it on my own. After countless long hours of hard work from him and some amazing friends, the van finally came to life just two weeks ago!
I’ve had so much support from all my family and friends to get here.

There’s still so much I want to add and grow from this starting point, but it’s already been such a rewarding journey. This is just the first step toward many exciting things ahead!

I have a deep passion for both coffee and people, and I’m beyond excited to be out there serving you. My hope is to bless this community through my coffee truck and create something meaningful.

Who would've thought.... This combo is actually the best! At Home trying this and sadly can't serve it to the public but I do recommend giving this a go if you can at some point.

A little tour and insight of the truck.... It took a couple months planning the design of this truck and several months building it. I also have the waste system and storage under and in the tray.

It's wild that we managed to get everything to fit in this tiny Kei truck but I'm so stoked with how it turned out and that I can have everything inside with it all so compact and accessible.

From the planning end of last year to where it is now has been a long journey and quite the ride but I'm so thankful for all the work that @the_brodstar put into making my dreams and visions for the truck come to life.
Massive shout out to him and to everyone who helped out so much @reuben.wherrett @j_jesseall @joedev_ and to my whole family who have supported me so much!

All the equipment is being added in. Got the plumbing and electrical done over the weekend and this afternoon the coffee machine will be dialled in. It’s all happening, not long to go!!

The Story
